Meet Elliott Lightman

Elliott Lightman is a husband, father, innovator, and lifelong learner. Raised in a Reform Jewish family in Philadelphia, he studied Hebrew and Torah from age eight and carried that early faith throughout his life. He went on to build a remarkable career in textile innovation, developing groundbreaking techniques used in products from bulletproof vests to sustainable cotton manufacturing, partnering with some of the industry’s most respected names. On August 13, 2024, his heart stopped four times within hours. He survived against extraordinary odds, an experience he now calls a miracle. Elliott writes and speaks about that journey, hoping to help others recognize the faith, love, and purpose already present in their own lives.
